The amount of greenhouse gas emission depends on many things including burn temperature, air flow, and systems to "catch" the emissions but there will always be unwanted emissions. The data suggesting global environmental change is increasing every week. It makes sense to reuse your oil.
There are various theories on how oil was formed but scientists agree it was formed over thousands of years by living organisms and is in limited supply, we should respect this.
